Purchase Agreement And Refund Policy
For all Purchases and CSA Subscription Memberships
Terms
Online purchases: For one-time flower, arrangement, seed and plant purchases: The Potter’s Bench will provide specified item(s) as stated in the the online listing subject to this agreement and our terms and conditions.
For in-person CSA subscription members: The Potter’s Bench will provide one (1) floral arrangement to all its CSA subscription members each week during the specified time period of the season (typically 4 weeks). This will be done in exchange for an upfront contribution of the total amount of the season. (for example a 4-week subscription is $25 a week, equaling a total up front contribution of $100) as stated in the the online listing subject to this agreement and our terms and conditions.
Payment
All items ordered online must be paid for in full prior to pickup.
You understand that unless paid in full you will not receive the specified item(s) and/or benefits from The Potters Bench CSA subscription membership.
Refund and Cancellations
Purchases and memberships are about a commitment to a local farmer and our commitment to you and the community.
We do not offer refunds on the purchase of flower, arrangement, seeds and/or plants. If you have made a purchase and do not pick your item(s) up, cancel, or no longer wish to receive the purchased item(s), you may donate to a charity or organization of your choice. You agree to make every effort to communicate quickly and in a timely manner with any questions and/or notifications about not being able to pick up agreed-upon item(s).
All cancellations for consultations, class, workshops or services must be received in writing by e-mail (info@thepottersbench.com), at least 48 business hours before the start of the services ordered and are subject to a cancellation fee. No refunds will be made for requests received after that time. Users who cancel will not receive consultation, class, workshop or services materials. Refunds will be issued in the same form payment was made when possible. When not possible, refunds will be issued via check and mailed. Please allow two weeks from confirmation of request for processing.
Pickup Times and Locations
Pick up times are Thursdays from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
We have two Arizona pick up locations only, located in Queen Creek (near Riggs and Sossaman) and North Mesa (near Brown and Gilbert). We will send a specific address upon order confirmation.
You agree to arrive at the designated pick-up location on time or give advanced notification if you are unable to do so. You understand that The Potters Bench has a tight schedule they must adhere to as a farmer, and that they are unable to wait past designated times.
If you pick-up from the farm or other pickup location, you agree to come as specified. For CSA subscription members, this means that you will come every week on the same day. If you are unable to pick up your arrangement on the designated day and time, or if you do not contact the us to make alternate arrangements before your scheduled day and time, you agree that your arrangement will be forfeited and will be donated to a charity of The Potter’s Bench’s choosing.
Plants
You understand that each flower is a living, breathing, senescing entity – and that any vase life is not guaranteed on any material or the arrangement as a whole. You understand that the arrangement will be composed of a variety of seasonally available materials and that no specific flowers or colors or varieties can be promised or guaranteed.
You understand that none of the arrangements nor the materials therein are intended for edible or topical use. You understand that materials may be irritating or toxic or poisonous if ingested by humans or other animals, and you agree to hold The Potter’s Bench free of liability.
You understand that by purchasing and/or becoming a member that you are sharing in the risk and rewards of the growing season. You realize there is an element of unpredictability with pests, disease, weather, acts of god and other unforeseen circumstances that may contribute or detract from the production of materials, and agree that arrangements may be subject to these factors. In the event of a catastrophic farm failure, The Potter’s Bench will do its best to adapt to the situation but there are no guarantees when it comes to farming.
You agree to receive email updates from The Potters Bench. If you purchase a CSA subscription membership, you agree to stay subscribed to it for as long as you are a member, as it is the means of communication of changes or updates between you and The Potter’s Bench.

By purchasing flowers, arrangements, seeds and/or plants from The Potters Bench, you agree that you have read all of the above and understand the agreement(s). You understand and agree to pay and pick up items as specified. If you Do NOT pick up your arrangement or other item(s) on the designated day, you understand and agree that it will NOT be held for a later date and that you will be responsible for the cost. If you are a CSA subscription member, you understand that you are committed to the full length of the entire season.
